an old crack, re opened… made itself longer… time for the epoxy!
This is the old, original style Big Green Egg smoker from the late 1980s. It was designed and intended for low and slow, not high temp searing. I usually cook around 225-250 for maximum smoky goodness.
NOTE : The original cracks were due to it being hit by a blunt object 20 years ago, not a design defect.
